Does Squirrly have a built-in long-tail keyword finder or perhaps suggests the inclusion of certain long-tail keywords?

You can use Squirrly’s keyword research tool to find long-tail keywords that your site can rank for. More details about it here.

The SERP Checker Cloud is a service that Squirrly developed to provide accurate ranking data inside the Focus Pages section and inside the Rankings section.

The SERP Cloud Checker is included in the Business Plan of Squirrly SEO .

You will still get access to the Rankings section, even if you don’t have the SERP Checker Cloud, but the ranking data will be taken from Google Search Console, which is not an exact position – it’s an average. Also, you can’t use it to check data for any kind of keyword whenever you want — you can only check keywords from within GSCs database for your site.

So, one of the benefits of getting a plan that includes the SERP Checker Cloud is this:

When I import a large number of keywords, is there a way to get the research data for all of them at once?

Right now, the only actions you can perform in bulk for Briefcase keywords are:

Send keywords to Rankings
Assign Label
Delete keywords

The way we thought the process was this – first research keywords using Squirrly’s keyword research tool and then save the best keyword opportunities to Briefcase.

Can I do that with Squirrly?

A: yes, you can do that with Squirrly SEO as well.

I want to be able to use the SEO audit but don’t want Squirrly to load the GA Tracking Script for me. What do I do?

Squirrly will ONLY add the Tracking script IF you add it in SEO Configuration > Connect Tools > Place Trackers .

For the SEO Audit and Focus Pages, it will only use the GA connection (from SEO Configuration > Connect Tools > Connect Tools) to get the traffic report.

If you connect your Google Analytics account in the SEO Configuration > Connect Tools > Connect Tools section but DON’T enable Squirrly SEO to add the Google Tracking script for your Analytics ID in the SEO Configuration > Connect Tools > Place Trackers section, this means that the plugin only looks at your Google Analytics to gather data for the Audit but doesn’t actually fire up the script.

How does Squirrly Handle Broken Links?

The plugin handles the broken URLs when you change a slug in a post type (Squirrly will redirect the 404 URL to the current valid URL).

We also added the default redirect URL in Squirrly SEO > Automation > Configuration> 404 to redirect the broken URLs when no valid permalink is found.

Squirrly also has a 301 Redirect option. One of the best ways to fix a broken link is to redirect it to another page. You can do this by setting up 301 redirects. (recommended for SEO because it’s a permanent redirect that passes full link equity – ranking power – to the redirected pages.)

It’s a new way of doing re-directs and complements our automatic redirect feature.

You can now decide when to redirect an existing page, custom post type, blog post, product, etc. to a new URL.

Note! Squirrly SEO also works well with the free Redirections plugin from WordPress.

Is there a configuration panel in Squirrly to set up just the desired features?
