Our paid plans are better than SEOPress Pro plus SEOPress Insights (in Insights they give ranking info) package. They make you buy both in order for them to work.
And we offer data-driven SEO alongside over 650 features for SEO, something their plugin can’t do, because they don’t use cloud services.
If you want, you can also use them together in compatibility mode.
What is the difference between Rank My WP and Squirrly?
Rank My WP is a separate product that focuses on keyword strategy. Using it, you can:
research keywords,
build a keyword portfolio
and track keywords performance on Google.
So, although Rank My WP offers some of the functionality that Squirrly SEO offers, it is way more limited in features as it is NOT meant to be a complete solution for SEO like Squirrly SEO is.
On this page, you can see that Squirrly SEO offers over 650 features for Search Engine Optimization.
Can Squirrly SEO replace the Mangools SEO suite?
Using Squirrly SEO, you can:
discover untapped keyword ideas and analyze their potential with the built-in keyword research tool (shows you search volume, competition data, how popular the topic is on social media)
track your rankings across multiple countries.;
know how many of your keywords ranked better;
know the best ranking of a keyword;
be notified of Rank increases as they happen;
see how many of your keywords rank on the 1st Page of Google;
get access to Daily SERP Changes and Daily Average Ranking graphs;
gain insight about a website’s Authority using the SEO Audit Suite.
+ much more. (Squirrly offers over 650 features for SEO)
^^ You can search on this page and see if Squirrly SEO offers some of the features that Mangools also offer, as well as discover some features that you can only find in Squirrly.
Does Squirrly affect site speed? Is it a heavy plugin? How much bloat does this add to my website?
Squirrly SEO does NOT affect your site speed. We actually did a live test where we installed Squirrly SEO on a site and showed that it does NOT impact the speed with which a site loads.
Check it out in the video below:
^^ you will see how super fast it loads with a WordPress site.
This amazing feat is thanks to the SaaS + plugin duality which is unique to Squirrly SEO.
650 Features in Squirrly SEO, but the processing and heavy lifting is done on Squirrly Limited (the company’s private servers). That makes the plugin load incredibly fast.
Also, from our tests, the Squirrly SEO plugin loads on the frontend in 0.005s if you’re not using a cache plugin.
The cache advantage is that we integrated the Squirrly SEO plugin with the most popular cache plugins like WP Super Cache, WP-Rocket, Autoptimize, W3 Total, and more. This way the buffer only loads through the cache plugins and the speed is not affected at all.
Most of the processing, data storage, and other things that only Squirrly SEO can do, are actually things that happen on our Cloud Servers. The duality between plugin and Cloud Services (APIs, crawlers, big data, A.I., MarketIntelligence services) allows us to load the plugin’s code very fast.
The hard work and the processing times are supported by our servers… not by yours. We don’t keep our big databases inside your WP. We keep them on our servers.
Our plugin is super lightweight because of this.
More details about this can be seen in the clip below:
As mentioned, Squirrly SEO runs mainly from our Cloud Services, so the algorithms all run on our servers and only send data back to the plugin.
The plugin itself loads very fast. Sometimes, the API loads slower, but that does not affect the loading time of pages on your WordPress – it can only annoy while waiting inside the dashboard for Keyword Research, for example.
We’ve really been working a lot on the API speed and it’s better than what it used to be.
How does Squirrly compare with plugins like SEO Framework, SEOpress Pro or the free version of Yoast in terms of site speed?
Q: Can you please explain how you squeeze out these features without hitting the site’s server performance in terms of database calls, front-end loading, etc? Also, is there a way to turn off some functionalities that may potentially slow down your website? And if so, which functions do you recommend turned off, if you are a little bit of a speed freak?

We’ve really been working a lot on the API speed and it’s better than what it used to be. If you are worried about too many features:
the Next SEO Goals section brings you priority tasks that need solving and they are different from site to site. This part is powered by our Machine Learning algorithms.
So, what this means is: you won’t have to use the hundreds of features if you don’t want to fine-tune them. Squirrly SEO has all important settings done for you right as you start and complete the setup wizard.
With Squirrly, can specific pictures for social media shares of pages and posts be used?
Yes, you can customize the Open Graph and Twitter Card image for every page and post using Bulk SEO or the Squirrly SEO Snippet.
You can’t export audit reports as pdfs directly from the cloud. However, Squirrly offers you the option to receive the weekly Audit by email separately for each website under your account.
Also, if you are an agency and want each audit to be sent separately to each one of your clients, you can set an email address for each site that you manage.
All you have to do is add the client’s email address in the appropriate field in the Audit Settings and the Audit report will be sent weekly by email to that person. (more details here: – SEO Audits section).
