Why does Focus Pages show me a different score than Surfer SEO, Yoast, and others?

Focus Pages takes into account over 113 ranking factors when analyzing a page’s chances of ranking. It doesn’t just check to see if you have created Search Relevance (as in: optimized the text using the SEO Live Assistant or something similar that is offered by other SEO tools).

Focus Pages also looks at things like the keyword you optimized for, the snippet, how many shares you get for that page, Platform SEO, Platform Health, Social Signals, Inner Links, Backlinks, Page Authority, and much more.

The analysis is incredibly complex.

So, because it looks at so many different data points, the analysis will be different than the analysis run by other software.

Hence, the different optimization percentages/scores.

It’s also important to mention that Focus Pages is a feature that helps you see how well a specific page on your website is doing for a particular keyword.

It’s important to focus on this main keyword because it’s the one that’s most relevant to your page’s content and the one you want to rank for in search engine results.

Focus Pages uses a keyword optimization metric to give you a complete report on how well your page is optimized for this main keyword.

This is different from other tools that may look at your page’s performance for all keywords in general.

Basically, Squirrly Focus Pages helps you see how well your page is doing for the specific keyword you care about, rather than just giving you a general idea of how your page is performing overall.

The reason why the ClicksImpressionsCTR (click-through rate), and page traffic you see on the Focus Page may be different from other tools is that these metrics are focused on the specific keyword that you’re targeting.

Other tools may give you a more general overview of your website’s performance, including all keywords, which can make it difficult to understand how well your website is doing for a specific keyword.

However, with Squirrly’s Focus Pages, you get a more precise and focused view of how your page is performing for the main keyword that you’re targeting.

This helps you optimize your content for the right keyword and improve your chances of ranking higher in search engine results for that specific keyword.
